In the spirit of working with a wide range of approaches and many art disciplines, this year the Faculty of Applied Arts has prepared two programs for ADRIART.CE network addressing two in terms of style distinctively different art techniques. The first one provides space for artwork and experimentation using traditional techniques of book making while the second one guides through creative processes of creating digital photography.

Hybrid – networked-in book

The trend of using old printing techniques has been getting very popular. Silkscreen printing is among the most popular ones. Department of Applied Graphic has recognized this as an opportunity, and two years ago the Faculty has revived the silkscreen printing workshop. This year’s workshop on book making in silkscreen printing technique is being organized by assistant professor Olivera Batajić in collaboration with Johann Marcade-Mot and Turbo Strip association.

Since the book itself is a hybrid of many art-forms, this year’s workshop treats this phenomenon from various perspectives, so the hybrid is being seen as mixture of techniques and work of many authors with different cultural and educational background to one art piece.

Workshop duration: 10 days

Working hours per day: 6

Workshop hosts: Olivera Batajic, Jana Vukovic, Johann Marcade Mot

Number of participants: 12

The workshop will be organized during the November 2017. The final dates will be published during the summer.
